before I get into my actual review of this story I need to explain some things :) it might be a bit shorter and / or less detailed than what I am usually writing but I have a good reason for that... I read it during a two month long period of time when I struggled with a lot of changes in my personal and professional life, so I read a lot, cause I needed something to relax, but at the same time I was in no mood to write any reviews… so here we are today, when I am doing my best to catch up on those :)This is the third installment in what originally was a trilogy about Tate and Logan… and I say originally, because we now have three more additions to the awesomeness that is this duo :) but let’s focus on this one for the time being… it took me almost two years to pick up this gem after I finished the second installment… yep, I checked on Goodreads and everything… why oh why have I waited so long? ;) I remember trying to listen to the audiobook version, but the narrator wasn’t for me… but then I could have read e-book or the actual physical copy, cause I own them both, and because of some stupid reasons I haven’t… trust me, no one was more disappointed in that decision than yours truly, because once I finally did start it, I was immediately reminded why I adore this series so much :) the sizzlingly hot chemistry between our men and absolutely phenomenal writing style… this was the most emotional installment so far, because of reasons I can’t spoil you right now… I loved that both Tate and Logan talked with each other and actually verbally communicated their needs and issues :) but I think my favourite moments were the ones when we saw sides of each of them that were a bit different than what we expected of them… I highly encourage you guys to read their story, starting with “Try” the first part of it :) if you haven’t yet, you have no idea what you’re missing out :) Trust was everything I was expecting for this book and then some. Ella Frank made me freaking cry! Yes, she did. Tate and Logan have some hard emotions, but I never thought I would feel so much for them I would cry. But that's exactly what happened.Finally, finally Tate and Logan are together. They passed over every hurtle in their way-though they have some still in their way. After all love is never simple.I knew that in the end Logan and Tate will end up together, but the journey there pulled out all the stops to prevent it. From things left in the past, to those trying to tear them apart in the present, Logan and Tate have to trust in themselves, in each other, and in their love to make it to the other side. And this is all before the parts that made me cry. Because Ella Frank is a tease she leaves us to believe that maybe this book will be the one that grows their relationship, and it does. Only not in the way we expect.By the time Logan and Tate get their happy ending, I was drained emotionally and I was so happy. It took me three days to read the entire Temptation series, three days I spent with Logan and Tate, and it wasn't enough. I'm not ready to let these characters go. Trust took their relationship to a whole other level, it made them stronger, it exposed their weaknesses.Over three books I saw two different men come together and find the balance between love and life. They found what they needed in each other, they also found what kind of men they wanted to be. I would love more from my new favorite couple, but I am also glad that they finally got what they needed--each other.
